I like the way you turned an owl into a dress. The shape is right and the colors are pleasing. Nice work!
Looking at it from a fashion point of view, this is definitely a costume, which you might have gone for! (you didn't write anything on it in your comment).
If you want to try to take it in a more "fashion" way, you might want to go away from taking it too literal, even for a costume. 'Take a step back and look at what makes an owl an owl.
But then again maybe that's now what you wanted.. just throwing in my two cents
